BLOOM is the chapter project of welcoming new ladies into the Bai Lawanen Jaycees. The project is the summary of the whole process of prospecting, recruiting, training, guiding and inducting a new member into the chapter.

BLOOM may be done as often as the chapter needs it. Sometimes it is done only once a Jaycee year, sometimes every quarter. The project supplies the group with the needed personnel to provide manpower to whatever plans and activities it has at hand. It keeps the chapter growing.

BLOOM is officially handled by a project chairperson who is reporting to the Director for Membership Commission. This year that office is handled by JC MYE G. PACUNIO. For the Jaycee Year 2000-2001, the Project Chairman for BLOOM is STARRA STEFFANI ROSS "Kerby" Y. UY.

Has interest and willingness to join the Bai Lawanen Jaycees

Attendance to the Acquaintance Dinner - a dinner sponsored by the Bai Lawanen Jaycee chapter where members bring their prospects for recruits
Completion of "OPPORTUNITY TO SUCCEED" Seminar
Completion of "PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURES" Seminar
Completion of "PROTOCOL" Seminar
Completion of "PROJECT PLANNING & MANAGEMENT" Seminar
Upon completion of these four seminars, the recruit is inducted as a Baby Jaycee. Together with her BLOOM batch mates, she will now propose a project that will target all areas of opportunities of the Jaycees..
Active participation in and completion of the proposed project
Attendance to at least one Board Meeting and three General Membership Meetings [no speaking rights] of the Bai Lawanen Jaycee chapter
Upon completion of all above requirements, the Baby Jaycee is inducted as a Regular Member.
Recruits and Baby Jaycees are continually guided by their mentors, the Bai Lawanen members who recruited them.
